Mississippi Independent Pharmacies Association Announces Hiring of New Chief Executive Officer
JACKSON, MS — January 12, 2026 —
The Mississippi Independent Pharmacies Association (MIPA) is
pleased to announce the hiring of Ralph David Roberts III as its
new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 12, 2026.
Roberts brings a strong commitment to independent pharmacies
and a clear vision for advancing the mission of MIPA. In his new
role, he will lead the association’s strategic initiatives, advocacy
efforts, and member services while continuing to strengthen the
voice of independent pharmacists across Mississippi.
“Independent pharmacies are a vital part of Mississippi’s
healthcare system and local communities,” said Roberts. “I am
honored to serve as CEO of MIPA and look forward to working with
our members, partners, and policymakers to protect and advance
independent pharmacies for the future.”
Before joining MIPA, Roberts served as Chief of Staff and Director of Government
Affairs for the Mississippi State Medical Association where he led statewide advocacy
initiatives, member engagement efforts, and crisis response during the COVID-19
pandemic. He previously served as President of the Mississippi Trucking Association,
leading the organization through record growth and major legislative successes.
He holds a master’s degree in public policy and administration from Mississippi State
University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Mississippi College. He is
also a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management at Villanova University.
