In 2025 alone, according the the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy, 10 pharmacies closed across Mississippi – 8 of those being independent. Since 2021, according to the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy, 54 independent pharmacies have closed in Mississippi. Earlier this week, Baldwyn L&L Pharmacy, located in Baldwyn, alerted their customers that they will be closing permanently on February 9th.
